Funko has announced they will be donating over $500,000 worth of toys to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation. That’ll be a whopping 50,000 toys that they can destribute. This comes at a perfect time as Toys for Tots have announced they have a shortage of toys this year, and need more donations.

“We are honored and thrilled to support Toys for Tots this holiday season,” said Brian Mariotti, CEO of Funko. “We are happy to be able to make the holidays a little brighter for the children in our communities.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Funko as a major national corporate sponsor of the 2015 Marine Toys for Tots Campaign,” said retired Marine Major Bill Grein, vice president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. “They have provided us with many quality toys. With their generous support, we will be able to fulfill the Christmas holiday dreams of thousands of less fortunate children, who otherwise might have been forgotten.”

Funko is also encouraging fans to make monetary or toy donations to their local programs. All toys will go to children in need.
